In the early hours of August 31, 2026, the life of 38-year-old Derrion D. Davis, a Black male from East Saint Louis, Illinois, was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire at a local nightspot. The incident occurred shortly before 12:30 a.m. at BB's Sports Bar & Grill located on Lake Drive in Cahokia Heights.
