In the early morning hours of Sunday, August 30, 2026, the life of a well-known West Odessa businessman, Aaron Jordan, 42, was tragically cut short. Deputies from the Ector County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to Jordan's residence in the 13000 block of West 42nd Street around 1:45 a.m. following reports of shots fired.
