In the late summer of 2026, the life of 15-year-old Manblessin Brightwell was tragically cut short in Florence, South Carolina. On the afternoon of Friday, August 28, 2026, he was fatally shot at a motel on West Lucas Street. The Florence County Sheriff's Office and Coroner's Office were called to the scene to begin the investigation into the young man's death.
