On the evening of August 26, 2026, the life of 48-year-old Patricia Beltran was tragically cut short in what authorities would later describe as a murder-suicide. The grim discovery was made by Hidalgo County Sheriff's deputies at approximately 7:13 p.m. when they were dispatched to a residence on Jessica Avenue near Mission, Texas, for a welfare check. In the backyard of the home, they found both Patricia Beltran and her 53-year-old husband, Noe Garcia, with gunshot wounds.
