Clayton Benoit, a 51-year-old man, died in Whitehorse, Yukon, on August 30, 2017, after suffering injuries that authorities later determined were the result of a homicide. Emergency Medical Services transported Benoit to Whitehorse General Hospital at approximately 11:30 that morning. Despite receiving medical treatment, he died from his injuries later the same day.
