A man is found shot to death in his car On October 29, 2005, Earnes Herron Jr. was found dead in Greensboro, North Carolina, inside a vehicle parked at 602 Fairmont Street. Greensboro police were called to the scene at approximately 1 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Herron in the vehicle, and his death was quickly ruled a homicide. Despite investigations, the circumstances surrounding Herron's death remain unclear, and the case has yet to be solved.
