On June 16, 2016, 31-year-old Rayshaun Steward was found deceased in Columbus, Ohio, as a result of an apparent gunshot wound. At approximately 5:50 a.m., Columbus Police Officers responded to a call reporting an unresponsive male lying in the grass near an alley in the vicinity of South Champion Avenue and Oakwood Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered Rayshaun Steward, who was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical services just a few minutes later.
