On December 9, 2008, Lonzo Bennett III, also known as "Tre," was shot and killed in Dayton, Ohio. The incident took place on Forsythe Avenue in Montgomery County. Lonzo was just 19 years old at the time of his death. The homicide occurred in the early morning, and Bennett was found suffering from a gunshot wound, ultimately succumbing to his injuries. The Dayton Police Department began an investigation, but no suspects have been identified, and the case remains unsolved to this day.
