On October 19, 2008, Michael Arnold, a 46-year-old resident of San Diego, was shot and killed in the Mountain View neighborhood. Arnold was walking along the 3800 block of Teak Street when a dark sedan slowed down near him. The car, occupied by three males in their late teens or early twenties, approached Arnold, and one of the occupants opened fire.
