On December 26, 1998, Michael Sowards, a 27-year-old male, was shot and killed outside his home in Columbus, Ohio. The incident took place at 1122 Mt. Vernon Avenue, and Michael suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. He succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter. The shooting occurred under circumstances that remain unclear, and despite investigations, no suspects have been publicly identified.
