On October 9, 1992, Alice Ayers, a 37-year-old woman, was tragically found dead in a cornfield near 981 Longshore Road in Sunbury, Ohio. She had been reported missing by her family in Columbus before her body was discovered. The Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene after a homeowner discovered a body in the field.
