On a cold February evening in Pittsburgh's Homewood South neighborhood, the life of 23-year-old Savon Lamont Martin, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On February 8, 2017, just before 8 p.m., the sound of gunfire shattered the night on Inglenook Place. Responding to a ShotSpotter alert that detected the shots, police arrived to a grim scene.
