Piere Burbage, a 29-year-old resident of Philadelphia, was shot and killed on August 31, 2016. The incident occurred in front of the Mantua Haverford Community Center while Piere was standing with his 12-year-old son. Witnesses reported that the gunman approached and opened fire in a shocking act of violence, leaving Burbage fatally wounded at the scene.
The tragic homicide occurred in the presence of many witnesses, but despite this, no arrests have been made in connection to the case.
