On July 29, 2016, Khayree Warren, a 28-year-old Black male, was fatally shot in Philadelphia. The incident occurred around 8:50 p.m. on the 3500 block of North 21st Street. When Philadelphia Police Officers arrived at the scene, they found Khayree lying in the street with gunshot wounds to his face and neck. The officers immediately transported him to Temple University Hospital, but unfortunately, Khayree succumbed to his injuries the following day, on July 30, 2016.
