In the early moments of a Monday morning, the sound of gunfire pierced the pre-dawn stillness of the Homewood North housing project in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was December 14, 2015, when 21-year-old Tajour Embry and his friend, 19-year-old Shaquille Maynor, were fatally shot.
