Deandre Allison was a 20-year-old Black male from Pittsburgh’s South Side whose life ended late on Sunday, September 6, 2015, in Pittsburgh’s Upper Hill District. Around 10 p.m., a Pittsburgh police officer was already in the area, out of his vehicle and speaking with a nearby resident, when the sound of multiple gunshots broke through the night. The officer moved toward where the shots had come from and found Allison lying in the street on McNeil Place, near Webster Avenue.
