Earnest Pearson, a 45-year-old Black / African American male from Philadelphia, was killed on Monday, August 3, 2015, in the Brewerytown section of Philadelphia. Police were called to an auto mechanic shop on the 2700 block of West Cabot Street shortly before early evening after a report connected to a person with a gun.
