In the early evening of January 14, 2015, a sense of normalcy was shattered on the 6500 block of Lansdowne Street in Philadelphia. It was there, at approximately 6:00 p.m., that 20-year-old Aaron Rodgers, a Black male, was found lying in the street with a gunshot wound to his face.
