Dyia Alexis, a 24-year-old Black male from Philadelphia, was killed on Monday, July 7, 2014, in the 1600 block of North Wilton Street. That night, at about 10:13 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers were called to the block and found him inside a 2000 Mazda MPV minivan. He had been shot multiple times.
