In the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood of Philadelphia, a 22-year-old Black male named Layton Hagans was shot and killed on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 30, 2012. The incident occurred around 4:28 p.m. on the 2500 block of Napa Street. Hagans was walking with a childhood friend not far from his home on West Hagert Street when a car approached them, and an occupant of the vehicle opened fire.
