A TX woman is shot and killed while setting up a garage sale in her driveway\n Elizabeth’s Husband, Sergio left for work on the morning of January 25th at around 6:48am. Liz stayed home and began putting signage out on their front yard for the garage sale scheduled to start later that morning. Four minutes later, a neighbor's surveillance camera shows a 2013 or newer model four-door black Nissan Frontier truck, pulled up in front of the Barraza home.
An unknown individual with long hair or a wig, and wearing what looks like a robe, is seen getting out of the truck and walking towards Liz. A doorbell camera captured a brief conversation between the two and then four shots rang out, and the individual escaped back into their truck. Surprisingly, the shooter returned to Liz's home and drove past, seemingly to make sure that she was dead.
Liz was rushed to the hospital after neighbors heard the gunshots, and she was declared dead at the same hospital where she was a beloved volunteer. She was 29-years old at the time of her murder. In her untimely and tragic death, Liz, an organ donor, was able to save the lives of four individuals.
There is currently a $20,000 reward for any information regarding the individual who killed Elizabeth Barraza.
