On October 30, 2016, 34-year-old Christopher Fuentes was fatally shot while working as a bouncer at The Annex Bar, located on San Pedro Avenue in San Antonio, Texas. Around 11 p.m., Fuentes was escorting a female patron to her vehicle when a small black car approached. Multiple individuals exited the vehicle and opened fire, striking Fuentes multiple times. The assailants then fled the scene, leaving Fuentes mortally wounded. Emergency responders pronounced him dead upon arrival.
