A woman is found shot to death in her car
In the quiet early hours of February 28, 1990, the life of 18-year-old Tammy Eleene Salyer was tragically cut short in what was initially believed to be a car accident. A female, she was a recent graduate of Virginia High School, working as an assistant manager at a Burger King with dreams of one day owning her own franchise. On the night of her death, she was driving her 1989 Chevrolet Sprint home from work along Interstate 81 in Bristol, Virginia.
