On the evening of May 6, 2015, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of a Milwaukee neighborhood, ending the life of 25-year-old Corteze Winston, an African-American male. He was seated in a vehicle near the intersection of 18th and Glendale when the shots rang out.
