In the summer of 2022, a violent encounter in Birmingham, Alabama, claimed the life of 37-year-old Michael Arrington. On the evening of June 6th, Arrington and a female companion were seated in his white van on the 1100 block of 40th Street in the Ensley neighborhood. It was then that an unknown assailant, or assailants, opened fire on the vehicle.
