On February 6, 2019, the body of Fredrick O'Neal Harris, a 63-year-old Black male, was discovered on the side of a road in Lipscomb, Alabama. Investigators with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office determined that Harris had been slain. He was a United States Army veteran and was remembered as a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and uncle.
According to reports, Harris was last seen on February 2, 2019, in the Center Point area, four days before his body was found by a FedEx driver. I
