In the late summer of 2019, the life of 14-year-old Austin Aaron, a White male from Jasper, Alabama, was tragically cut short. On August 2nd, the teenager was enjoying a ride on his ATV near the intersection of Alabama State Highway 69 and Old Tuscaloosa Road. It was there that a Walker County Sheriff's Office patrol vehicle, driven by Deputy Blake Carter Hudson, collided with his all-terrain vehicle. The impact inflicted grievous injuries upon the young man.
