In the Kingston neighborhood of Birmingham, Alabama, a young man's life was cut short on the morning of May 6, 2019. Lovell Amison III, a 23-year-old Black / African American male, was fatally shot in the 4500 block of 9th Avenue North within the Morton Simpson Village public housing community.
