On a Friday evening in Birmingham, Alabama, the life of 54-year-old Andre Falletta Shedric was tragically cut short. On May 31, 2019, Shedric was found unresponsive inside a vehicle in the 1800 block of Bessemer Road. He had sustained a gunshot wound, and despite the efforts of Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
