In the summer of 2019, the life of Keith Lamont Tolbert, a 44-year-old man from Birmingham, Alabama, was tragically cut short. On the evening of June 20th, Tolbert was found shot and killed in the Five Points West area of the city, a violent end to what authorities would later describe as an ongoing dispute.
