In the early morning hours of July 24, 2020, the life of 19-year-old Jesslyn Ann Nicole Hood of Cullman, Alabama, was tragically cut short. The young woman was a passenger in a 2007 Jeep Patriot traveling along County Road 1223, just three miles north of Cullman. At approximately 3:45 a.m., the vehicle veered off the roadway and collided with a tree. Hood, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
