In the late afternoon of September 30, 2023, a resident of Adamsville, Alabama, was fatally shot in Birmingham. Micah Honor, a 24-year-old Black male, was driving his black sedan near the 2100 block of Bessemer Road when an unknown individual opened fire on his vehicle. The initial reports to the Birmingham Police Department at approximately 3:20 p.m. were of a traffic accident in the 2000 block of Warrior Road.
