In the early morning hours of a December day in Irondale, Alabama, a 911 call led police to a residence where they discovered the body of 62-year-old Lea Anne Grant Blanpied. The female victim was found deceased at the scene, bringing a tragic end to what police would soon describe as a domestic incident. The call, which came in at 1:12 a.m. on Monday, December 28, 2020, was made by her son, 29-year-old Patrick Hugh Blanpied.
