In the summer of 2020, a heart-wrenching incident unfolded in a residence in Forestdale, Alabama. On July 29th, Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputies received a call to a home in the 100 block of Dalewood Manor Lane concerning an unresponsive infant. The male child, two-month-old Amari Ruffin, was reportedly sleeping with his father when he was discovered to not be breathing.
Emergency services transported the infant to a local children's hospital, but tragically, he was pronounced deceased
