On a Wednesday afternoon, August 19, 2020, the life of a 24-year-old Black male, Cadarius Killian, was cut short in Birmingham, Alabama. At approximately 4:33 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 7500 block of 66th Courtway South following reports of a person shot. Upon their arrival, they discovered Killian in a grassy area, unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound.
