On the evening of February 7, 2021, a stretch of Bessemer Super Highway in Brighton, Alabama, became the center of a sudden and deadly investigation when officers were called to a shooting scene in the 4300 block. Deputies arriving to assist Brighton Police found the victim already beyond help, the violence having ended almost as quickly as it began.
