Ladiamonique Esta Zaire-Simmons, a 27-year-old mother of three, died on September 16, 2021, following a violent altercation inside a Fairfield, Alabama, home. The incident, which unfolded in the early morning hours, involved a family member and resulted in Simmons being shot.
Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a residence on Osceola Drive shortly after 1:00 AM in response to the shooting. Upon arrival, they found that Ladiamonique Simmons had sustained a gunshot wound.
