John Ash Scoggins, a 76-year-old White / Caucasian male from Odenville, Alabama, was last seen alive on February 16, 2021. A search was initiated by the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office and the Odenville Police Department after he was reported missing. The search concluded on February 21, 2021, when his remains were discovered in the Hunters Crossing area of Odenville. Due to the condition of the remains, a forensic analysis was required to officially confirm his identity.
