In the late afternoon of Thursday, May 20, 2021, chaos erupted in the Buttermilk Hill community of Sylacauga, Alabama. Shaquan Devon Jackson, a 29-year-old Black/African American male, found himself in the line of fire on North Nashville Avenue, between East 3rd and 4th Streets.
