In the summer of 2021, the life of a promising young man from Talladega, Alabama, was tragically cut short. D'Marian Jherico Miller, a 17-year-old male, was killed in what police described as an apparent drive-by shooting on Sunday, August 1, 2021. The incident occurred on Tinney Street as he was returning home with a friend. Investigators at the scene recovered nearly 51 shell casings, leading them to believe that at least three gunmen were involved in the fatal shooting.
