In the early hours of a Saturday morning in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, the life of 19-year-old Versaun Leonard was tragically cut short. On June 12, 2021, officers from the Tuscaloosa Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 3200 block of Willow Lane. Upon their arrival at the West End residence around 12:14 a.m., they discovered Leonard suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention, his injuries proved to be fatal.
