Cynthia Anabel “Cindy” Cardenas, a 33-year-old Hispanic woman, was killed in Bessemer, Alabama, in the early hours of Sunday, August 28, 2022. Just before 6 a.m., a call brought police to the 3300 block of Avenue C, near her home, on what was initially described as a possible stabbing.
