In the early morning hours of April 25, 2022, the life of 19-year-old Davion Marcell Hickley was tragically cut short in a barrage of gunfire in the 800 block of 3rd Avenue West in Birmingham, Alabama. Just before 2 a.m., a shooting erupted that resulted in Hickley's death and left three other individuals wounded. When law enforcement arrived at the scene, they found a chaotic scene with numerous evidence markers indicating the intensity of the violence that had unfolded.
