In the early morning hours of July 11, 2022, the life of 35-year-old Alonzo Colvin, a male resident of Birmingham, Alabama, was tragically cut short. Responding to a report of a person shot at the intersection of Pratt Highway and Heflin Avenue West, Birmingham police officers arrived to find Colvin unresponsive in the driver's seat of his vehicle. He had sustained a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene by Birmingham Fire and Rescue.
