In the early morning hours of Halloween 2023, a devastating head-on collision on John Hawkins Parkway in Hoover, Alabama, claimed the lives of 64-year-old Teresa Roberts and her 67-year-old husband, George Roberts. The couple from Bessemer were traveling eastbound when a westbound Lexus RX 350 crossed the center line and struck their Nissan Rogue. Both Teresa and George Roberts were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred near Hunter Street Baptist Church.
