Javaris Deon Patton, a 29-year-old man, was killed in the early hours of June 10, 2023, when gunfire tore through a quiet stretch of Rayfield Drive in Midfield, Alabama. Deputies were called to the 1400 block just before 2:00 a.m. after reports that someone had been shot.
