On the evening of January 28, 2023, Robert Dewayne White, a 43-year-old Black/African American male, was found shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. in the 3400 block of 31st Avenue North. When Birmingham Police Department officers arrived at the scene, they discovered White unresponsive in the roadway.
