On a tragic summer evening in Birmingham, Alabama, the life of 20-year-old Alajah Patric Fairfax was cut short. The events unfolded on Saturday, July 8, 2023, beginning around 6:05 PM when East Precinct officers were dispatched to the 6800 block of 66th Street South following a report of a person shot.
