In the late evening of September 26, 2023, the life of Malcolm Lemoyne Love, a 36-year-old Black/African American male from Birmingham, Alabama, was tragically cut short. The father and beloved community figure was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in a residential area in the 800 block of 19th Street. Emergency responders rushed him to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
