In the early hours of October 6, 2023, the life of 22-year-old Jjuan James Cole, a Black male from Birmingham, Alabama, was tragically cut short. Gunfire erupted in the parking lot of a nightclub located in the 800 block of 2nd Avenue North, leaving a scene of chaos and violence.
